Spencer & Kristina
An early dream was to buy 20+ acres with her parents and several siblings and this dream was discussed frequently, even looking at some potential properties in Utah and Arizona. When they found the Ranch, it felt right, and they started working towards that long-standing dream with her parents. It may be less individual acreage than they had originally envisioned, but the friendships, benefits, and safety afforded by such a community of like-minded neighbors are unmatched, and they wouldn’t have it any other way.
In 2022 they moved to the Ranch in a travel trailer with their then 3 children and set to work: fencing, raising chickens, building a barn, installing a well, planting trees, etc. They have been very grateful that Spencer has been able to work remotely this entire time as they build out the dream. Obviously, the question of a more permanent house was always on the mind, as a travel trailer only works for so long as a family home, and Kristina had their fourth child in March of 2023.
After looking at several house options they decided to purchase 2 yurts and, after some struggles, have comfortably moved into the first.
This is home. This is where and how they want to raise their children, grow their food, and live life.
